2025 Year in Review | A Year of Momentum and Meaningful Progress

As we move into 2026, it feels like a good moment to pause and reflect on what was a genuinely rewarding and productive year for both myself and BRT Agronomy.
2025 was shaped by long-term client partnerships, tournament preparation, technical project delivery, and continued growth in how and where we support golf and sports turf facilities across the region.
Sustainability, Certification & Major Events
Sustainability and tournament readiness remained a major focus throughout the year.
BRT Agronomy was fortunate to support GEO Foundation verifications for several world-class venues and events, including the Sentosa Golf Club, as well as LIV Golf Adelaide and LIV Golf Singapore. Helping clubs and event organisers strike a balance between elite playing conditions and credible sustainability outcomes remains one of the most satisfying aspects of our work.
A major milestone in 2025 was at Kharghar Valley Golf Course, where BRT Agronomy supported the preparation and hosting of the first international tournament ever held at the Mumbai venue. It was a significant achievement for the club and its maintenance team, and a proud moment to be involved in that journey.
In Thailand, Nikanti Golf Club once again hosted its annual BMW tournament, with BRT Agronomy supporting tournament preparation to ensure the course was presented at the level expected for an international event.

Construction, Grow-In & Trials
Away from tournaments, 2025 also included some very hands-on project work.
We successfully completed the construction and grow-in of two new putting greens, supporting the process from specification and establishment right through to early management and performance benchmarks.
Alongside this, we delivered a Bermudagrass putting green cultivar trial, comparing Tif3D, Mach 1, and TifEagle under local conditions. The trial generated valuable data around establishment, surface quality, management inputs, and long-term suitability for a tropical climate, helping inform future warm-season putting green decisions for projects across the region.
Beyond golf, we also supported the grow-in and establishment of two international cricket venues in Chennai. Both facilities are now fully established and on track to host their first international matches in early 2026, marking an important milestone for the venues and their operating teams.

Analytical Services
Our analytical services continued to grow steadily throughout the year.
We welcomed new analytical clients from both Europe and Asia, alongside our existing client base, reinforcing the demand for independent interpretation and practical application of test results.
Across 2025, clients submitted a wide range of samples for analysis, including:
Soil nutrient testing
Soil organic matter (OM246)
Irrigation water suitability
Plant (tissue) analysis
Bunker sand characteristics
Complete physical analysis
Soil moisture curve analysis
This work underpins much of what we do — helping clubs move away from assumption-based decisions and toward clearer, evidence-based planning that links inputs to performance, cost control, and sustainability.
Industry Engagement & Knowledge Sharing
Sharing knowledge and contributing to the wider industry remained a priority.
Brad Revill presented at the New Zealand Golf Industry Conference in Auckland on “The Importance of a Course Master Plan”, focusing on how long-term planning supports both conditioning goals and financial sustainability.
In Malaysia, Brad also presented on the importance of GEO Certification and the practical pathway toward achieving it.
In India, Brad delivered a presentation on “Wet Season Turf Management” and ran a hands-on boom sprayer calibration workshop at the Golf Industry Association Green Initiatives Educational Seminar in Mumbai.

Team Growth & Partnerships
2025 was also an important year for BRT Agronomy as a business.
We strengthened our consulting capability with the addition of Nikolas McGuiness as Sports Turf Consultant. Growing the team allows us to better support our clients across multiple regions while maintaining the independent, practical approach we’re known for.
We also expanded our service offering through partnerships with Aqua Turf International, adding irrigation design consulting, and Golf Industry Asia, supporting broader industry collaboration and education.
Ongoing Client Relationships
One of the strongest indicators of success in 2025 was the renewal of several long-term consulting partnerships, including:
Nikanti Golf Club
Pineapple Valley Golf Club
Palm Hills Golf Club & Residence
Kharghar Valley Golf Course
These ongoing relationships reflect shared trust, aligned values, and a long-term view toward continuous improvement.

Looking Ahead
Looking back, 2025 reinforced the value of independent advice, strong partnerships, and doing the fundamentals well — supported by data, experience, and good people on the ground. As we head further into 2026, the focus remains on building capability, supporting our clients’ long-term goals, and continuing to raise standards across golf, sports turf, and sustainable facility management.
Thank you to our clients, partners, and team members who made this year possible.
